And the Mind Body Soul Coaches Award goes to…

Brian Bird out of BDB in Calgary for the second year in a row.  Stand out competitor Matt Bagshaw secured the title for his coach by earning and impressive 42 points.

48 teams and over 360 competitors made this year even better.  We had 17 women, 16 purple belts and over 40 blue belts compete.

Save Yourself Some Time & Money (just by reading this page)

By pre-registering the night before in Edmonton or Calgary you can show up later on Saturday.

No need for a hotel if you live fairly close and no need to wait around for a few hours until your division starts.  Last year we had a 30 minute late start (which is normal since people were late to register), but by 1 pm we were ahead of schedule and had finished the entire day (packed and out the door) by 4:30.

To ensure a prompt start time and sticking to our schedule, please be ready (changed with gear on) 30 minutes before your event is scheduled. We will be having pages on the wall to show you what divisions are in which ring (there are ten rings) and your division numbers will be written on your wristband (don’t leave with a blank wristband).

Pre-Registration Info

We have had lots of questions about the Pre-registration process so here we go.

Pre-registration will be held Friday June 24th from 6-8pm at the following locations:

Edmonton and area competitors can pre-register at Arashi Do Martial Arts North,

12730 St. Albert Trail.  780-220-KICK (5425).

Calgary and area competitors can pre-register at Arshi Do Martial Arts North East,

Bay 4 – 2135 32 ave. N.E. (back of building behind Kicks Martial Arts Supply)

 

To speed up the registration process please print off the forms and fill them out before hand.  If you have any questions about which division you will go in please email me at myackulic@arashido.com

FAQ’s

Weigh ins are done without the gi on.  If you weigh in heavy you can weigh in again any time before 8pm

Payment is CASH only

If you are registered in more than one division we will not run them at ther same time (but they may be back to back)

Children and women are $30 for two divisions, $10 for each extra one

Adult men are $50 for two divisions, a$10 for each extra one

Admission is $5 or $10 for a family

If you pre-register you do not need to show up until 30 minutes before your event is scheduled to start.

Pre Register in Edmonton or Calgary June 24th

To make things easier for everyone we are setting up a location in Calgary this year to Pre Register and Weigh in Friday June 24th.

Pre Registering in Calgary will allow you to arrive later on Saturday.  1 hour before you event is scheduled.

PLUS… you get to save money from getting a hotel room.

AND… if you Pre Register you recieve a FREE rash guard.

Pre Register June 24th and get a FREE RASHGUARD!

That’s right.  For our 10th Anniversary our long time sponsor at www.FighterGear.ca is giving out Loose Fit Rashguards (Sprawl style) to the adults who pre-registers the night before the tournament.
